  1. Sadly a short one this week, but never the less was it highly entertaining!

In regards to franchises on other platforms, I would love to see the Uncharted series at some point on Xbox. Looks like a fun 3rd person adventure game. I know there are plenty of people that would love to see a Halo game on Playstation at some point.

To satiate my English obsession and curiosity, you guys mention “quid” in regards to currency. Can you tell me how this relates to the British pound? I assume it’s the same, but you know what they say about assumptions.

Also, what are some English foods you fine gents fancy?!

Again, love the podcast and look forward to it every Monday morning.

    • Cheers mate, thanks for your consistent support, we genuinely love active commenters.

Short? In comparison to last weeks war and peace then yes, we always aim between 1 hour to 90 minutes… We often go long though 🙂

      1 Quid = 1 Pound – don’t know why.

English food? I made a menu.
Squid rings with Sicilian lemon juice
      Lamb Madras
      Belgian Bun 😉

Glad you love the show. I have a question for you – would you prefer a regular show on Monday then hear our E3 thoughts the following week? Or would you rather we post an E3 special on Tuesday or Wednesday then back to regular Monday cast the following week?

      • My opinion would to be a special cast directly following the E3 announcements. Would be a cast of epic proportions! Not to mention gain some traffic to the site following the buzz.

That’s just my two cents though. I’ll listen either way!

      • One thought on where ‘quid’ comes from is from the old Gaelic word ‘cuid’ (pronounced similarly). It meant a possession, a thing, a piece etc. Another school of thought is that it comes from ‘quid pro quo’, the Latin phrase meaning ‘something for something’.

        As for food:

Bangers and mash, toad in the hole, Sunday roast, fish and chips, scones, Eton mess, spotted dick, and trifle to name but a few.

We should have a TBoD cooking special, all three of us have some decent skills in the kitchen.

  2. Thanks for the shoutout guys. Would of followed you here a long time ago but i felt i’d rather wait until i start my own blog to do that. Your Podcasts are very good to listen to while on twitter.

    • Thanks for listening/following/commenting and the general support Sam, we really appreciate it. I will definitely check out your blog over the weekend.
